SHIMMER

I couldn't resist signing out on 2012 without a last bit of festive shimmer, some snapshots of favourite baubles captured on the tree in Ireland.  My in-laws approach to tree decorating is similar to mine, with no specific theme, just a collection of eclectic treasured baubles gathered over the years, each with a little story attached to it. (I will confess to coveting the huge cherub faced bauble with the glittered hair!)

The tiny fabric flower lights lit up our room in Ireland, so beautiful against the pitch black countryside night skies....
